Consciousness center is the focal point of mind of dream consciousness(Dream conscious is unconscious, subconscious or astral conscious, read here). Since the mind can almost focus at anywhere, thus the consciousness center has no real physical location. Although the consciousness can be seen as in reflected in brain activities, however the consciousness itself can only perceive what it is focusing at, thus it should not be locally limited at inside of brain.
Dream consciousness and its mental focus Edit
During a dream, the consciousness is subjective and not controlled by will, except for lucid dreaming. However, like during awake, dream consciousness also requires mental focus in order to be able to remember what it has interacted with. Since the dream consciousness is subjective to the awake, thus postulates that it has its own mental focus not just during asleep, but also during awake, just the dream consciousness is remained dormant during awake.
This thus derives a virtual location of where the consciousness center is. Since the consciousness can focus at anywhere, the awake consciousness has to mentally focus not at any physical location, but just right at the mental focal point of the dream consciousness, where ever it is.
Unconscious, subconscious and astral projection Edit
Although there is currently no direct science evidence proves that dream is related to unconscious or subconscious, the theory is presented by psychologists such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung and Fritz Perls. There are numerous astral projection practitioners claim that by practicing out-of-body experience through sleep, or also known as lucid dreaming, there are non-physical things that can be interacted with, which usually the practitioner use the term "astral" to describe their experiences such as astral body and astral plane.
Although the research is unclear, whether the dream is from unconscious, subconscious or astral, if summing up all these as dream conscious, they would have the consciousness center as well.
There are three ways of utilizing the consciousness center: Pendulum dowsing, standing meditation and sleeping meditation.
Pendulum dowsing/radionics Edit
Pendulum dowsing is an art of dowsing that uses pendulum. Pendulum radionics is an art of radiesthesia that uses pendulum to detect paranormal activity. There are two movement induction types of the pendulum.
- By ideomotor response - The dowser's hand is moving and causing the pendulum to swing, however the hand movement is not consciously but an ideomotor response.
- By psychokinesis - The dowser's hand is to not move at all and to let the pendulum moves by itself. This requires the mental focus of the dowser on the pendulum, to convert into the pendulum movement, which is psychokinetic.
Connects consciousness center with pendulum Edit
Since the nature of consciousness center is mental, the connection is establish by mentally focusing at the pendulum. The pendulum will swing by itself in response to the question of dowser.
Since the consciousness center has no physical location, thus the connection of consciousness center with the pendulum can be anything according to the mind of the dowser.
Standing meditation (spontaneous qigong) Edit
Standing meditation is a meditation done by standing pose and having the body to move spontaneously, where the spontaneous body movements are actually driven by dream consciousness when one mentally connects to the dream consciousness. It is by mentally focusing on a static consciousness center until the body starts to move spontaneously. The reason for the static of the consciousness center is, since the dream consciousness is dormant during awake, then it should be in a static state. From the look of the spontaneous body movement, it seems to be like a physical exercise, but since it requires mental focus to work, thus it is more appropriate to say it is a meditation.
Energy center of body Edit
Energy center of body happens when one mentally focuses on the mass center of a body. It is an energy conversion process from mind (psychokinesis) to physical. It is practiced in qigong where the energy center is called as dantian.
Sleeping meditation Edit
Sleeping meditation (spontaneous qigong) is a meditation done by laying down on bed and attempt for dreaming, either to remember dream or lucid dream. It is by mentally focusing on a moving consciousness center. This is because for sleeping, the dream consciousness is active thus its consciousness center is moving.
A more comprehensive study and practice of dreaming has known as in astral projection.
